New application note (app0031: Xylon logicBRICKS IP Cores - Software Drivers SDK Workflow) summarizes and explains tasks required to use software device drivers for Xylon's logicBRICKS IP cores in standalone (no operating system) Xilinx® FPGA based system configurations.
The described workflow works with the Xilinx Software Development Kit (SDK) embedded software development environment for Xilinx embedded processors (MicroBlaze
™, PowerPC 440 and PowerPC405).
logicBRICKS software device drivers fully support the functionality and
configurability of the related logicBRICKS IP cores. Xylon is adopting logicBRICKS IP cores and device drivers for use with the Xilinx Zynq™-7000 Extensible Processing Platform devices, which combine the ARM® Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ processing system with Xilinx programmable logic on a single chip.
