Xilinx® has announced a new class of product – Zynq™-7000 Extensible
Processing Platform (EPP). The Zynq-7000 EPP products combine an
industry-standard ARM® dual-core Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ processing system
with hard-core peripherals and the programmable logic implemented with
Xilinx unified 28nm architecture.
Xylon will adapt the company’s
Surround View solutions to the Zynq-7000 EPP. It will enable the development of
the next generation SoC automotive products which will fuse different
automotive applications, i.e. the surround view and pedestrian
recognition, allow for development of new algorithms, and unprecedented flexibility at the hardware level.
