logiTAP
The logiTAP Development Kit based on Xilinx Spartan-3E
offers a complete design framework for embedded designers developing GUI
applications. This hardware platform is packed into a single Plexiglas
casing comprising the Xylon logiCRAFT3 board and a high resolution color
LCD touch display.
The kit combines the Xilinx FPGA with the Xylon logiCRAFT3 display development
platform and the logicBRICKS™ IP cores library. It works with several
third-party graphics software development tools allowing for a full set
of graphics rendering features.
The logiTAP itself makes an excellent example of a powerful GUI embedded
system utilizing low-cost hardware. The Kit comes preloaded with several
GUI demo applications that fully demonstrate the logiTAP capabilities.
All demo applications can be navigated and controlled by an integrated
touch display.
The logiTAP includes an FPGA reference design that is based on the Xilinx
MicroBlaze™ soft-CPU acting as a microcontroller (MCU) controlling
all system functions, and Xylon logicBRICKS™ IP cores controlling
advanced system's graphics features.
