February 2008, Nuremberg (Germany) - Embedded World 2008 Global FPGA market leader Xilinx, Inc. presented several Xylon products based on new logicBRICKSTM IP cores and a new Xylon's logiCRAFT3 Compact Multimeda Display Development Platform. Among other interesting design details, this platform includes high speed Gbit/s digital link that dramatically reduces system’s wiring complexity and enables transport of combined audio/video/control information. The link is supported by APIX (Automotive/Advanced Pixel Link) devices by Inova Semiconductors (www.inova-semiconductors.de) company. January 2008, Las Vegas (USA) – The Sands Expo and Convention Center Xylon, in collaboration with Xilinx, demonstrated the new logiCRAFT3 Compact Multimedia Display Development Platform, based on the low-cost family of Xilinx® XA Spartan™ - 3E field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). It is designed to support a wide variety of audio and video sources and handle a variety of display types including today popular COG displays. The logiCRAFT3 integrates several standard communication interfaces enabling an easy programming and control, as well as a smooth integration into larger systems. > 15. February 2007., Nuremberg (Germany) - Exhibition Center Xylon has donated the Spartan3 based logiCRAFT2
Multimedia and Infotainment Evaluation/Development platform to the Display
Lab (www.displaylabor.de) of
the University of Pforzheim, Germany. The Display Lab is focussed on applications
of electronic displays and is dedicated to applied R&D. The donation
was handed over to Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach, leader and founder

first Scalable 3-D Graphics Accelerator IP at Embedded World 2007 in Nuremburg,
Germany. The logi3D was presented in Xilinx booth as a part of Xilinx
demonstrations of latest embedded processing and DSP technology innovative

The presented 3-D graphics demo is based on the Xylon logiCRAFT2 Multimedia and Infotainment Evaluation/Development platform, and demonstrates a parametrizable and scalable 3-D graphics solution using Xylon logi3D IP.
