Xylon Advanced Driver Assistance

Xylon ADAS Surround View system now implements the virtual flying camera feature that enables drivers to dynamically adjust visualization of vehicle's surrounding by changing the point of view within the 3D hemispheric representation of the vehicle's surrounding.

The demoed version runs on the Xilinx Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC without the hard-core Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) IP core. For the purpose of the vehicle's 3D model rotation, we use the Xylon logi3D Scalable 3D Graphics Controller soft-IP core. Video signal from four video cameras have been processed by Xylon logicBRICKS IP cores.

The logiDROWSINE IP core is a computer vision IP core for Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) that detects driver drowsiness and distraction based on facial movements monitored through a camera placed in a vehicle cabin.

This video clip demonstrates a demo driver drowsiness detector implemented on Xilinx® Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC based Xylon logiADAK development kit in different driving situations. Driver fatigue monitoring while wearing sunglasses and during the night driving is enabled with the measurement optical camera system developed by Xylon.
