Reference logicBRICKS Design

Xylon provides the pre-designed logicBRICKS reference FPGA design prepared for the Xilinx® Platform Studio (XPS) and the EDK implementation tools. The reference design is a comprehensive graphics and video solution comprised of a set of logicBRICKS evaluation IP cores, the full FPGA design, documentation and a number of illustrative software applications demonstrating specific IPs' features.


The logicBRICKS reference design helps users to experience the logicBRICKS design flow at no cost and with no obligations! The design includes LCD display controller, video input frame grabber, 2D graphics accelerator, advanced memory controller, and other IP cores. The provided software exercises logicBRICKS IP drivers and illustrate the most important IP features.


It can be fully implemented and ran on the logiCRAFT6 and the logiTAP Xylon's hardware platforms.

The following screenshots show examples of the presented logicBRICKS features, such as the logiBITBLT alpha blending operations, the logiCVC-ML multiple video layers, and the logiWIN input video picture processing (hue, saturation, etc.).
