Video Design Framework (Maintenance Expired)

The logiADAK-VDF Video Design Framework is the complete and preverified camera-to-display SoC design framework for use with Xylon logiADAK and logiVID-Z development kits for AD/ADAS, machine vision, guided robotics and other vision applications. It significantly saves the design time and allows users to focus on specific vision-based parts of their next vision SoC development.

The framework includes pre-verified logicBRICKS reference designs for video capture from Xylon cameras or the HDMI video input, and the display output with the RGB overlay under the Linux operating system running on the Xilinx® Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC. The included Sobel video filter example shows how to integrate custom vision processing logic with the provided SoC infrastructure, and how to implement it in software or in programmable logic.

Xylon logiADAK and logiVID-Z Development Kits

Users who do not have Xylon FMC board and cameras can evaluate the CAM-HDMI design with the Avnet HDMI Input/Output FMC board attached to the ZC706 Kit.

The reference designs are available in the Xilinx Vivado® Design Suite and the SDSoC™ Development Environment 2016.2 compatible versions.
