At this year's Embedded Technology, the largest Japan trade show and conference for embedded system designers and managers, Xylon Japan was presented at Avnet Japan Co., Ltd. booth. Xylon showcased the 2D and 3D logicBRICKS Graphics Processing (GPU) for Xilinx® Zynq™-7000 All Programmable SoC running on the ZedBoard™ development kit from Avnet Electronics Marketing.
The presented graphics engine for the Zynq-7000 AP SoC is available as a downloadable reference design from Xylon. Deliverables include complete software support for Linux operating system: FrameBuffer driver, DirectFB driver and OpenGL® ES* 1.1 API. Configurable logicBRICKS IP cores enable customization of the evaluation hardware and development of graphics engines tuned for specific applications.
Xylon Japan Director, Mr. Ryos Suzuki gave presentations about Xylon graphics solutions for Xilinx FPGAs and SoC.
