Embedded Vision TechDays by Avnet Silica

> 28. September 2017 – Novotel Massy Palaiseau, Paris (France)
> 11. October 2017 - Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross, Bologna (Italy)

Xylon cordially invites you to meet at the Embedded Vision TechDays organized by Avnet® Silica that will take place in Paris, France on September 28, 2017 and in Bologna, Italy on October 11, 2017. Do not miss the opportunity to talk to Xylon experts and to see live demonstrations of our advanced video and vision systems based on the Xilinx® Zynq®-7000 SoC and Zynq UltraScale™+ MPSoC:

Surround view ADAS system with an integrated virtual flying camera

Showcases an advanced surround view system that provides a 3D hemispheric view of the vehicle’s surrounding, with the driver being able to dynamically adjust the perspective view. The system uses four HD video cameras, utilizes Zynq UltraScale+ quad-core ARM® Cortex™-A53 and dual ARM Cortex-R5 cores, and in addition, the Mali™-400 GPU for the car model rendering.

Driver monitoring ADAS system detecting driver state and driver attention

Real-time head and eyelid tracking combined with precision gaze direction measurement that allows the reliable driver attention and driver state detection under a wide range of challenging real-world conditions. The Xylon DMS runs on the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC device and includes the Face Tracking and Analysis technology from our partner Visage Technologies AB (www.visagetechnologies.com).

Multi-camera embedded vision development kits with complete and pre-verified reference designs

The logiVID-Z and logiVID-ZU Vision Development Kits provide system designers with everything they need to efficiently develop multi-camera vision applications on the Xilinx All Programmable SoCs and MPSoCs. The complete hardware platforms support video capturing either from the HDMI video source, or from up to four parallel Xylon video cameras. Deliverables include licensed bundles of Xylon logicBRICKS IP Cores and pre-verified reference designs prepared for the Xilinx Vivado® Design Suite and software defined SDSoC™ Development Environment.

Avnet Silica presents: FROM IMAGE SENSORS TO MACHINE LEARNING VISION SYSTEMS

Recent improvements on image sensors, processing performance, power consumption, computer algorithms and machine learning, have elevated vision to a much higher level and over the next few years embedded vision will evolve into applications never seen before. During this TechDay you will learn new technologies for embedded vision starting from image sensors to full embedded vision learning systems. The speakers provide a story that you will not find on the internet and new applications will be explained with 10 state-of-the-art vision solutions showcased in the afternoon session.

The TechDay will give answers on different topics, including:

- What is the future evolution on machine learning and deep learning?
- How to create optimized vision solutions with little efforts in a short time?
- How to build power consumption efficient vision systems?
- What are the pitfalls when building a camera module?
- What is the trade off for implementing vision intelligence on the edge or in the cloud?
- How to optimize vision with poor environmental conditions?
