At this year's SSII Symposium on Sensing via Image Information presentation (SSII 2011) Xylon presented the driver assistance demo system - Four-Camera Surround View parking assistance.
Four-Camera Surround View (SV) parking assistance is an emerging automotive Driver Assistance (DA) application which enables the driver to see 360-degrees around the vehicle on the LCD instrument cluster or the Central Information Display. The surroundings can be seen top-down from a bird’s eye view perspective. Such a view eliminates all blind spots during critical and precise maneuvers in different traffic situations.
Xylon offers the logiVIEW-SVK Surround View DA Development Platform which can be used for vehicle assemblies.
