Xylon Japan participated at two X-Fest technical seminars co-hosted by Avnet and Xilinx. At the events Xylon presented logicBRICKS IP cores based 2D
Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) for the new Xilinx® Zynq™-7000 Extensible Processing Platform (EPP) product and 7 series FPGAs. logicBRICKS GPUs can be configured to precisely match specific graphics requirements and can be used with different operating systems running on the Zynq-7000.
Xylon enables designers to get hands-on experience with logicBRICKS graphics engines by allowing free download of reference designs
that can be run on Xilinx Zynq-7000 ZC702 Development Board. Deliverables include bare-metal drivers for standalone applications, Linux Framebuffer driver and DirectFB driver
to allow standard Linux applications development, and complete OpenGL ES 1.1 graphics API for development of advanced 2D and 3D graphics applications.
