Below are instruction for indirectly programming SPI Flash on logiCRAFT6 platform:
1) Make sure that the Watch-dog reset is disabled
2) Make sure that CPLD chip is programmed (hp805aa_v1_01_a.jed or later)
3) Open the ISE iMPACT(13.3 and earlier)
4) Connect JTAGcable to connector CN41
5) In iMPACT select 'Boundary scan -> initialize chain'
6) When asked in pop-up window 'Auto assign configuration...' click cancel
7) When asked in pop-up window 'Device programming properties...' click cancel
8) Double click blue text square SPI/BPI? located above Xilinx xc6slx45t
9) In pop-up windows select fpga configuration for flashing (e.g. logiTAP_Platform_1.1\hp038Binaries\fpga_eval.mcs)
10) In pop-up window 'Select Attached SPI/BPI' choose: SPI PROM - S25FL064P, Data width: 1
11) Click OK
12) Above Xilinx xc6slx45t FLASH icon will appear
13) Select FLASH Icon and click Program and OK |
