logiREF-ZGPU-ZC702 is the pre-verified logicBRICKS reference design that
showcases logicBRICKS 2D and 3D graphics hardware accelerators and
display controller IP cores on Xilinx® Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC ZC702 Evaluation
Kit.
The design provides system designers with everything they need to develop graphics on a display connected to the ZC702 kit.
Design deliverables
include evaluation logicBRICKS IP cores and HW design files
prepared for Xilinx Vivado® Design Suite, complete Linux OS
image, software drivers, demo applications and documentation.

The evaluation hardware design is highly customizable. logicBRICKS IP cores can be setup through the Vivado IP Integrator (IPI) GUI parametrization to support only required graphics features; from small and efficient display control that uses just a fraction of programmable logic in the smallest Z-7010 Zynq-7000 AP SoC device, up to the full
3D accelerated graphics engine.

(The latest release includes Qt 5.4.0 support)
Provided software drivers offer standard Linux FrameBuffer driver and OpenGL® ES* 1.1 API. The latest release of the reference design includes the XylonQPA software plug-in for Qt 5.x, which works with the
logiBITBLT 2D graphics accelerator IP. The XylonQPA enables software programmers to use the Qt cross-platform application
framework in familiar ways and to design HMIs in the same way as with
any SoC. XylonQPA supported 2D graphics acceleration off-loads the processing system for other system tasks and enables faster HMIs on the Zynq-7000 AP SoC.
logicBRICKS graphics IP cores work with other
popular operating systems running on the Zynq-7000 AP SoC: QNX®, Android™ and Microsoft® Windows® Embedded Compact. A number of Xilinx partners provide different OS Board Support Packages (BSP) with included logicBRICKS support.
Standard software drivers enable software developers to work fast and efficiently with popular graphic libraries, widget toolkits and familiar development tools. Xylon also supplies bare-metal software drivers for non-OS use.
